David Thomas '79

David Thomas is a Principal of LBA and has over 37 years of experience in investment sales, tenant negotiations, development and asset management. Since joining LBA in 1993, he has been responsible for a variety of roles and currently co-heads LBA’s acquisition efforts and he currently serves on LBA’s Investment Committee. Prior to joining LBA, Mr. Thomas was a Senior Associate with Colliers Iliff Thorn, where he was involved in the sale of office, industrial and retail properties. He also represented a number of national tenants in connection with major facility negotiations and relocations throughout Northern California and the San Diego area. Mr. Thomas holds a B.S. degree in Resource Economics from the University of California at Berkeley and serves on several professional and charitable boards.

Brother Thomas was one of the original 4 partners of LBA Realty founded in 1991 and has grown his business to a portfolio of 60 million square feet of industrial buildings nationwide and 11 million square feet of office buildings on the West coast, Phoenix and Denver. Portfolio value of $10B AUM of $4.5m. 

 On charitable side, his family foundation supports their favorite Schools and Universities - Go Bears! And has had a charitable focus on Foster Kids all through their growing up experience.
