Event Information
It has been 100 years since Cal Beta SAE moved into 2722 Bancroft Way! To commemorate, we are going to have the biggest, most fantastic Duck Dinner in history on Friday, November 18th on the eve of the 40th Anniversary of the Play!!
Drinks and appetizers will begin at 6:30 PM, followed by dinner at 7:30 PM. Our special guest speakers are the Legendary Joe Starkey, who is retiring after 48 years as the “Voice of Cal" and Ahmad Anderson, Cal Hall of Fame Captain of the 1982 team, also known for his “Bear Territory” chant. We also will have an inspiring Cal Band performance, along with the Hall of Fame induction of Rob Valli ’78 and and Justin Sharpe ’07.
Additionally, will have our first annual Cal Beta Auction led by Steve Hayworth ’81, “The Auction Guy.” The auction will benefit the 2722 Bancroft Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation, and help us award scholarships to deserving members. Over $50,000 in scholarships has already been granted to Cal Beta members.
There will be dozens of outstanding auctions items to bid on relating to Cal Athletics, incredible vacation packages, and much more (see below)!
