Actives Continuing Philanthropy During Summer

School’s out for summer, but that hasn’t stopped Cal Beta SAE’s from making a difference in their community.  On Saturday July 30th, brothers Jai Toor, Brad Surh, JP Cabaniss, Ryan Glenn, and Gian Pepe spent the day painting the playground of the new Vincent Academy Charter School in West Oakland, which plans to open its doors for the first time in late August.  Former EA Jai Toor has been very involved in the opening of the school, which will serve underprivileged children in one of the worst school districts in California.  The true gentleman of SAE were joined by girls from the Delta Gamma, Chi Omega, Alpha Chi Omega, and Alpha Phi sororities, who have been co-inhabiting the fraternity house this summer.

A couple photos from the event have been posted in our online photo album.
